Special Course Notes for PHYS 201
This page will contain any special notes or opportunities announced in class.
Opportunity to improve one test grade: You can get up to half credit for the questions you missed on any one
of the first four tests if you do the following:
a) for questions you got correct, nothing is required;
b) for yes/no or less than/greater than type questions, please tell me why you answered the way you did;
c) for regular numerical answers, write up the solution in the regular homework seven step paradigm method;
d) if you just missed units, then simply correct the units.
Doing the above can earn you up to 50% credit on the points you missed, so if you made a 50, you can raise your grade up to a 75, if you made a 75 you can raise it to an 88, if you made an 88, you can raise it to a 94, etc.
Please note that this applies only to one of the first four tests. You can wait and choose later which test you wish to correct in this manner. You must turn in your corrections in the above format by class time on Thursday, July 2th.
