Electric Force and Charge
It took a lot longer, but we finally realized that there is an Electric Force that is basic and works in a similar way. But the force wasn’t between the mass of two objects. Instead, we found that there was another property associated with matter: charge.
But unlike gravity where the force was ONLY ATTRACTIVE, we find that the electric force is sometimes attractive but also sometimes REPULSIVE.
