Force Example
To use the Conservation of Energy example, we need to have a change in one form of energy into another form. But in circular motion, the distance (and hence potential energy) stays the same, and the electron will orbit in a circular orbit at a constant velocity, so the kinetic energy does not change. Therefore, there is no transfer of energy and the Conservation of Energy method will not give us any information!
