Voltage

Just like we did with forces on particles to get fields in space,

(Eat 2 due to 1 = Fon 2/ q2)

we can define an electric voltage in space (a scalar):

Vat 2 due to 1 = PEof 2 / q2 .

We often use this definition this way:

PEof 2 = q2 * Vat 2 .
