V = IZ where Z = [R2 + (wL - 1/wC)2]1/2 .
Note that when (wL - 1/wC) = 0, Z is smallest and so I is biggest! This is the condition for resonance. Thus when w = [1/LC]1/2, we have resonance. This is equivalent to the resonance of a spring when w = [k/m]1/2.
