Catalog description: A third course in physics covering geometrical opics, interference, diffraction, quantum theory, waves and particles, atomic physics, special relativity, radioactivity and nuclear physics. Prerequisite PHYS 251. Offered in the Fall and Spring semesters, and during one of the summer terms.
