A&P lab

The field of Public Health encompasses several areas including biostatistics, environmental health, epidemiology, nutrition, and administration.

Biostatistics and epidemiology require lots of math with a good science background. At CBU we have degrees in math and computer science that have a science track, and these can be used quite effectively to prepare you for an advanced degree in these areas. You can also choose to pursue a biology or chemistry degree and include mathematics and computer science electives.

Environmental health and nutrition require lots of biology and chemistry. At CBU we have degrees in biology and chemistry along with a good choice of electives that will prepare you well for these areas.

There are other areas of public health that can be pursued with other degrees such as sociology, psychology and management.
