Student groups offer both social and academic activities. Students work together to explore their prospective careers, support one another in their academic endeavors, and form lasting friendships in the process.
Pictured on the left are the biology research students at the 2006 Research Poster Session.
.

The student discipline groups formed a volleyball team to play a team of
science faculty members in a charity volleyball game last year and again
this past spring. Both teams from spring 2004 are pictured here. For
pictures from this year's game (2007), click here.
Pictures from previous year's games can be found in the Biology Fun Photos page.
The picture on the left shows the Beta Beta Beta inductees for 2004. The picture on the right shows our
ACS student group receiving a chapter award.
The group in the picture to the right went on a biology field trip to
the Gulf Coast Research Lab which we usually do once a year. We now have a full
page of pictures from the Fall 2006 field trip
(due to Katrina we were not able to go in 2005), and
the Fall 2004 field trip and previous
trips such as for
the 2002
spring trip, from the
2001 trip, and from the 2000
trip.
Pictured to the left is Dr. John Varriano, Physics Professor, interacting with Beta Beta Beta members Angel Barritt and Michael Gipson during Brain Awareness Week.
