Effective Use of Presentation Tools

The Science building has seven student-friendly classrooms (nice desks and chairs) with excellent audio-visual tools:student presentation

In addition, six of our labs also have a computer with internet connection and document camera connected to a bright projector.

The photo on the right shows Jeff Crisp, a junior chemistry major, presenting a report on an experiment in Physical Chemistry Lab. This classroom, along with two others in the Science building, was selected for publication in the 1998 American School & University Educational Interiors Showcase. Congratulations to the architects: Askew, Nixon and Ferguson!

Professors and students use these tools in ways that make education both effective and enjoyable.
