sampling rate = 1 reading / 200 nm
Nyquist limits: maximum frequency = (1/400 nm) and minimum wavelength = 400 nm
Plot 1: l = 600 nm
no aliasing - the frequency & wavelength will be determined correctly
Plot 2: l = 400 nm
right on the verge of aliasing - the frequency & wavelength will be determined correctly
Plot 3: l = 150 nm
aliasing occurs - the frequency is measured to be lower & the wavelength longer than actual
Plot 4: l = 100 nm
aliasing occurs again...a drastic case!- the signal occurs to be dc, i.e. f = 0 & l = infinity
