Physics 491-492: Research I and Research II

This shows the reflection spectrum from the orange scale of a Honduran milk snake taken by Daniel Benson (B.S. Physis, 2011). Daniel designed a hand-held reflection spectrometer for his research project that can be used in the field on flora and fauna. Ms. Lynda Miller (Biology) is using the spectrometer to characterize king snake populations in the Mid-South.
