Electrical Deflection
Using electric fields, the student must accelerate an electron and deflect it to hit a target. The length and separation distance of the deflection plates and the target height are given. The student must enter the size and polarity of the accelerating and deflection voltages supplied to the plates. The screen shows a successful attempt at hitting the target.
