Read Section 2.5 about harmonic functions.

Exam 1 will be next Wed instead of Mon so that you will have time to work all of the problems on pp. 77-78 & so that I can grade the last 2 homework assignments & return them on Monday.  

But you need to attempt them first.  We will reserve Monday for working some of the problems 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 13, & 15 on pp77-78 in class.  (Extra 10 minutes: 30 more minutes to make up).

As far as Section 2.4 is concerned for Exam 1 you are responsible for knowing the statements of the theorems, Examples 1 & 2, examples done in class,

and the following problems on pp.77-78: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 13, & 15.

Exam 1 will cover Chapter 1 (Sections 1-6) and Chapter 2 (Sections 1-4).
