  • Stored pairs
Specify the number of pairs you would like to enter.
  • Corruption percentage
This allows you to control how much the selected patterns are distorted when you press the "Alter" button. It indicates each cell's probability of reversing its color.

  • Once you have specified your parameters, enter the stored patterns by clicking and dragging on the grid cells. Use the "<<" and ">>" buttons to navigate among your stored pairs.
  • Use "Rand" to generate random patterns for the current pair.
  • For quick demo purposes, use "Load" to recall a hard-coded set of 3 10x10 pairs associating the letters A to C with the numbers 1 to 3, respectively.
  • Use the "Alter" button to randomly corrupt the currently selected pair. If you want, you can manually enter your own corrupted patterns instead.
  • Use "Copy" to produce a duplicate of the currently selected pair. This is useful if you want to test the network's recall of a certain pattern by feeding it only the associated pattern.
  • The applet iterates until you leave this page or press "Stop."
