What is Nuclear Engineering?
Nuclear Engineering is the application of radiation (interactions of radiation with matter) and/or radioactive materials in the solution of engineering problems.

Radiation is the emission of energy in the form of particles or waves.
Examples: sunlight, heat, atomic/nuclear (ionizing) radiation.
