2.     If your 16-year old female patient asks for a pregnancy test, what do you do? If she's pregnant, how do you handle that information? Do you tell her parents (who just happen to be your best friend, brother, or whatever)? She's thinking about abortion, what do you do?

3.     Your best friend's father is on a ventilator. He (the friend) wants you to "pull the plug" on his father to let him (make him?) die. What do you do?

4.     What do you think about HMO's or TennCare?

5.     What is the biggest problem facing medicine today? Explain.

6.     What type of volunteer work have you done?

7.     Why do you want to be a doctor?

8.     What clubs are you involved in?

9.     What extracurricular activities are you involved in? (Church, work, volunteer, etc.)

10.If out of state, why do you want to go to UT?

11.Indirectly asked if I was interested in rural practice or primary care. UT is REALLY pushing this.

12.How do you plan to finance medical school.

13.If you have a bad grade in any subject, be prepared to explain.

14.What type of non-science classes did you take and why?

15.What was your favorite class in undergraduate school? (It doesn't have to be a science class.)

16.How would your friends describe you?

17.What type of support network do you have? (Friends, family, church?)

18.How do you relieve stress in your life?
