Guidelines for paper on Scoop on Poop Exhibit at the Pink Palace Museum

You are to write a paper,
3-5 double-spaced typewritten pages long, on the Scoop on Poop exhibit, which will be shown at the
http://www.memphismuseums.org/exhibit-7008/
It should consist of the
following:
1) A cover page with your name and the title of your
paper. This is the only place that you should have your name indicated. PLEASE do not insert your name as headers or
footers;
2) Address the following questions:
a. How do animals use excrement for habitats, behavioral
signaling, and food? Describe examples
of each.
b. How do paleontologists, farmers, and healthcare
professionals use poop?
c. How is poop used as a construction material and a
source of energy for heating , transportation and
electricity?
3) Please incorporate, by either stapling, or downloading
and pasting into the text of your paper, a photo of yourself (and friends
and/or family) posing at one of the displays of the exhibit. If you
Photoshop your image into a scene at the exhibit, you will die a painful death.
The deadline for submitting this paper is Monday,
April 20, 2009. That is a week after y’all
get back from Easter weekend.
