Class Trematoda, Subclass Digenea (Flukes)

• Most are hermaphroditic

• Have a digestive system

• Have a minimum of two hosts, the first of which is a mollusc, usually a snail.

• Show a phenomenon of polyembryony in the 1st intermediate host.
