Symptoms
and
Clinical signs: In heavy infections, patients show small blood-streaked
diarrheal stools, abdominal pain and tenderness, nausea and vomiting, anemia
and weight loss. Prolapse
of the rectum has occurred in some cases.

Treatment: Mebendazole.
