STRATEGIC PLAN 2017-2022

In 2016, CBU articulated its vision for the next five years and outlined the pathway towards achieving this vision. Pathways to Success: CBU Strategic Plan provides the framework for the University to grow, thrive, and ever more fully realize our mission of fostering “academic excellence in a range of programs to prepare students from all faiths and backgrounds for careers and lives informed by the Lasallian values of faith, service, and community.”

The strategic plan developed from a collaborative effort that solicited ideas and input from virtually all stakeholders in the University.

On October 7, 2016, the strategic plan was approved by the Board of Trustees. The Strategic Plan Steering Committee then identified those initiatives that were priorities for the first phase of the plan. The Steering Committee identified “Champions” for each initiative. These were people who had the expertise and energy to make each initiative a success. The Champions, in turn, convened working committees to outline the steps necessary to achieve the initiative. As of August 1, 2018, the first phase of the plan drew to a close.

The process of reviewing the Strategic Plan and identifying the next set of initiatives is well underway. Updates will be provided to the campus community as they are available.
