Student Success Groups and Events
Follow Student Success on social media for academic success resources like videos on choosing a major or study tips, to meet student leaders, and join the conversation on what it takes to be successful! You can follow on Instagram @cbustudentsuccess and on Twitter @CbuSuccess.
Virtual Study Halls
Join us on Tuesday and Thursday evenings to study with a group over WebEx. Hosted by a Peer Mentor, students can drop in at any time for quiet study and scheduled breaks for conversation and games. Check the Student Success LinkTree to access the WebEx links for each study session.
Men of Color
With the leadership of the Peer Mentors, the Men of Color group is open to all male-identifying students of color who want to expand their network, share experiences, and build friendships. Students can connect with each other through virtual meetings, live social media events, and on-campus events. Join the group this spring through Instagram Live Conversations on Tuesdays at 6:00 pm and look out for dates to be announced for the upcoming Finding Meaning Retreat with Campus Ministry.
First-Gen
Student Success and the Peer Mentors lead CBU in recognizing and connecting our first-gen students through virtual meetings, live social media events, and on-campus events. Join the group this spring through Instagram Live Conversations on Thursdays at 7:00 pm.
Each November, CBU joins NASPA and the SUDER Foundation for the national First-Generation College Celebration with a week of celebrating the first-gen students, staff, and faculty of our campus community. Visit our We Are First Gen webpage for more information!
