The ARC-PA accepted the plan for the Christian Brothers University PA program to withdraw from the ARC-PA accreditation process effective May 31, 2017. The program will remain on Accreditation-Probation until that time. The program will not accept any new students for enrollment. Specific questions regarding the Program and its plans should be directed to the Program Director and/or the appropriate institutional official(s).
Christian Brothers University (CBU) has applied for Accreditation - Provisional from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). CBU anticipates matriculating its first class in 2018, pending achieving Accreditation – Provisional status at September 2017 ARC-PA meeting. Accreditation - Provisional is an accreditation status granted when the plans and resource allocation, if fully implemented as planned, of a proposed program that has not yet enrolled students appear to demonstrate the program’s ability to meet the ARC-PA Standards or when a program holding accreditation-provisional status appears to demonstrate continued progress in complying with the Standards as it prepares for the graduation of the first class (cohort) of students.
The program will accept applications (conditional) starting June 1, 2017 through CASPA for the 2018 start date.
