Express Evening Admissions Night at The College of Adult Professional Studies

The College of Adult Professional Studies (CAPS) at CBU offers hybrid learning options with schedules that fit your lifestyle and your learning style. You can start right away by attending our Express Admissions Decision Evening. We’ll review your application package and answer any questions you have about the admission process, financial aid, and our personalized academic programs. Just bring your application materials, and we’ll provide you with an admission decision on the spot!

FOR ON-THE-SPOT ADMISSION…

IF YOU HAVE 24+ HOURS OF COLLEGE CREDIT:

  • A completed application — you can complete our online application in advance at www.cbu.edu/caps.
  • Official copies  of all college transcripts (in sealed envelopes).

IF YOU HAVE Less than 24  HOURS OF COLLEGE CREDIT:
In addition to the above a short essay is required including:

  • Why do you want to attend CBU?
  • Why do you want to further your college education?
  • What are your career objectives

Supplemental Documents: In addition to the above:

  • Two letters of recommendation (one personal, one professional)
  • Official high school transcript with graduation date

Admission decisions are based on the grounds that student accounts are clear at all previous institutions.

Alternative Credit Options

We understand that you are not a traditional student. That’s why CBU offers a highly individualized process that provides you an opportunity to petition for college credit for the knowledge, training, and skills you’ve previously learned through a broad range of experiences outside of the traditional academic setting.
