Buc Madness Kicks Off Basketball Seasons with Pep Rally, Celebration

MEMPHIS—The Christian Brothers University Lady Buc basketball team heads to the University of Tennessee-Martin next Monday, and the Buccaneer men’s team plays an exhibition game against the University of Memphis that same night. CBU Inducts Three into the Athletic Hall of Fame

MEMPHIS-The Christian Brothers University Athletic Hall of Fame announces its Class of 2016, featuring three inductees. This year's induction banquet was held on Friday, April 8  in Sabbatini Lounge in the Thomas Center. Kevin McArthy starred in basketball from 1983 to 1985. In 71 games, he scored 1,037 points with 184 rebounds, 140 assists and 76 steals. He shot 57.2 percent from the field, which ranks sixth in school history, and his 14.6 points per game are good for 16th in school... Read More

Homecoming 2016 Tames Wolves, Boosts School Spirit

Nienaber Inducted to Cincinnati Basketball Hall of Fame

CINCINNATI — Christian Brothers University men's basketball coach Mike Nienaber was inducted into the Greater Cincinnati Basketball Hall of Fame on May 13 at Receptions Banquet Center in Fairfield, OH. While Nienaber played high school basketball at La Salle High School in Cincinnati, he has spent his entire 32-year college coaching career in west Tennessee, 16 years at Bethel College in McKenzie and 16 years at CBU. Casey Named Academic All-American Player of the Year

Christian Brothers University senior guard Trey Casey is the Capital One Academic All-America Men's Basketball Player of the Year, announced today by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). This is his second consecutive year being named a First Team Academic All-American. CBU Honored with NCAA Academic Excellence Award

Christian Brothers University, after posting a successful Academic Success Rate, will be honored with an Academic Excellence Award by the NCAA. As part of the Division II Presidents' Award for Academic Excellence program, now in it's fourth year, CBU will be honored after seeing a graduation success rate of 90 percent among its student-athletes.
