Biography

Casey Maidon completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio.  She attended the Wake Forest University School of Medicine where she obtained a Master of Medical Science. She began clinical practice as PA in Atlanta, Georgia; and has since lived in Fort Wayne, Indiana; Louisville, Kentucky; and now Memphis. Her primary area of clinical practice has been in cardiovascular critical care with an emphasis on mechanical circulatory support, ECMO, and transplant. She has previously taught as adjunct faculty at University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Assistant Professor of Didactic Education at Sullivan University in Louisville, and has served as a clinical preceptor and guest lecturer for multiple other programs.

Mrs. Maidon serves as the Director of Clinical Education for the CBU PA program as an Assistant Professor. Her areas of interest in education are Problem Based Learning, programmatic assessment, and curriculum design.

Outside of CBU, she enjoys travel and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
