Dublin and London - Fall Break 2017


Join our “walking classroom” in London and Dublin during Fall Break 2017 as we expand our knowledge of the international business world with visits to leading multinational corporations. We will tour businesses such as the Jamison Production Company, London Financial District, Museum of Brands, Malahide Castle, Buckingham Palace, Fuller’s Griffin Productions Company, the worlds first business computer and many more famous local sites!

Courses Offered: All by Fr. Paul Watkins in the School of Business

MGMT 320: International Business 
An introduction to the field of international business and the implications of international trade and globalization upon businesses. Topics include the comparison of political economies and cul-tures, global trade and investment strategies, foreign investment, regional economic integration, foreign exchange markets, strategic alliances and global marketing.

MKTG 438: International Marketing 
This course provides the framework for marketing on a global basis. Topics include: globalization and implications for marketing managers; international market entry decisions; partnering and alliances; pricing, product policy, and branding in the global market; and marketing research applications in global marketing.

ECON 460: Special Topics
This course is designed to improve the student’s approach to modern economic prob-lem solving and to stimulate economic thinking and the analysis of modern business problems.

This trip is only accepting 11 students, and you must take one of the courses listed to travel. A $300 non-refundable deposit to the Business Office will guarantee your spot.
