Interest in the environment is at an all-time high, and if you want to become a part of this exciting field, our ecology major will be a perfect fit for you. With a CBU ecology degree you will be well prepared to compete in the environmentally conscious job market or to continue study in graduate school.
- Variety of classes including ornithology, parasitology, invertebrate zoology, animal behavior, ecological census techniques, wetland ecology, algae fungi, and lichens
- Lecture classes not exceeding 40 students
- Lab class sizes not exceeding 16 students
- Opportunity to conduct and present original research at scientific meetings
What You’ll Study
The ecology major requires 122 credit hours. You’ll take CBU general education and liberal arts courses, School of Science Support Requirements, plus courses in:
