As a resident student, can I register to vote at my CBU address?
YES! You have the right to register to vote at your school address — this includes a dorm room. If you receive mail at a campus mailbox, you can sign an affidavit or get a letter from Residence Life) asserting that you live at your dorm address. You will need to list the physical address and not your mailbox number.
Does a voter card serve as a form of identification for voting?
Most states do not accept a voter card as a form of ID. Photo ID is required to vote in Tennessee (such as Tennessee driver’s license, United States Passport, ID issued by the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security).
