Maurelian Monday events are a specific series of programs planned by Residence Life to address common first year student needs hosted every Monday night of the Fall semester in the Maurelian Hall Lounge. Supported by student development theory and complimentary to other CBU experiences such as Orientation, CBU 101 and student life/ co-curricular activities, Maurelian Mondays enhance student success by addressing common first-year student needs and concerns throughout the first semester.
Examples of events include The Registration Party, Time Management Challenge, The Roommate Game, and Unmaking Your Identity. Maurelian Mondays are meant to be fun, interesting and engaging while being helpful. Attendance is not mandatory, so come to the ones that sound interesting or helpful, and stay home for the ones that don’t.
