Something students may not know about CBU: CBU allows students an endless world of possibilities! Students can create their own clubs on campus to help them pursue their goals and passions.
Favorite thing about CBU: The community! Walking across campus and seeing friendly faces from students and faculty make you feel right at home! It’s a place where everyone knows your name.
One piece of advice for a successful application: Be original! Include quotes from your favorite writer or artist! It will help you stand out and show a piece of your personality in your essay!

What would you say to a student who isn’t sure whether CBU is the right place for them? If you are searching for a place that’s not too big and has educators who are not only teachers, but mentors who value your education and want to ensure that you are more than prepared for your career, then CBU is the place for you!

Favorite CBU tradition: I have two… Painting the rock, because it is fun seeing the new rock each time it is painted and my second is September of Service because it is an incredible way to get involved in the community outside of CBU and to help make our city even more extraordinary and it is a great way to make connections with the rest of the CBU community!
One piece of advice for a successful application: Making sure your ACT score is as high as you can get it and taking it multiple times for super scoring.
What would you say to a student who isn’t sure whether CBU is the right place for them? I say come check it out, the best way to see if it is for you is by visiting and possibly sitting in on a class!

Favorite CBU tradition: THE ROCK! It’s really to cool too see it ever-changing, and how some organizations come together to paint it. The ideas and concepts are amazing and so nice to see.
One piece of advice for a successful application: Be open in your essays — it helps us as counselors get to know you and what you are all about.
What would you say to a student who isn’t sure whether CBU is the right place for them? CBU is not the only option, but it is the best option. You get the full higher-education experience partnered with a full family experience that is for everybody.

Favorite CBU tradition: The Christmas tree lighting! Families and friends come out to celebrate with students and faculty. It’s truly a wonderful event!
Best thing about your job: I love interacting with students and positively impacting their lives. I’m glad to play a part in preparing them to be assets in our communities.
One piece of advice for a successful application: Write a killer essay that makes you stand out from the crowd! Be sure to answer all applicable questions completely and correctly, and provide all requested items.
