For Faculty: Transition to New Canvas LMS

Many of you are aware of the transition that is taking place in the online world at Christian Brothers University. Effective May 31, we will no longer have access to our Moodle site. All summer courses will be in our new LMS, Canvas.

If you have not yet been to a training session, please contact Online Learning and Technology at olet@cbu.edu for coming opportunities for the basic Canvas training. Future training that goes more in depth will take place over the summer and beyond.

We request that you stop updating online courses in Moodle by this Friday, April 5. Any changes made after April 5 will be migrated in a second batch and final batch, probably in late May.

Within the next three weeks, all courses will be migrated from Moodle to Canvas. This is so those teaching in the summer can begin working on their summer courses, setting them up and cleaning them up so that they will be ready by the start of the summer term.
