Office of Athletics
It is the goal of the CBU Office of Athletics to develop and maintain an athletic program that assists the university in enrollment management and graduates the student-athlete. The Athletic Department also strives for the student-athlete to excel both in the classroom and on the field of play. Through this success it would create interest among the CBU population and improve the department’s fund raising efforts for athletic scholarships.
It is the intention of the Athletic Department, as an integral part of the university experience, to compliment and supplement the guidelines of the university’s above stated institutional mission. CBU Athletics seeks to provide athletes with a well rounded and sound education, enhance preparation for a rewarding life after college, promote moral responsibility through sportsmanship and fair play, and develop and strengthen the skills of dedication and leadership.
