Christian Brothers University will celebrate the Class of 2027 with an in-person commencement exercise on May 6. Seating is general admission. While masks are not required, they are encouraged. Graduates should review the “Information for Graduates” link to the right on web page.”
Parking Information Coming Soon
Christian Brothers University holds one commencement ceremony each academic year in May. Students graduating during the current academic year (Fall, Spring, or Summer) are eligible to participate in CBU’s Spring Commencement Ceremony. Students may not defer their participation to a future ceremony.

Live Stream Commencement here Coming SoonFor guests unable to attend in person, the 2027 Commencement ceremony will be live-streamed here and on the CBU YouTube channel. The live stream will be available at the start of the ceremony and will be archived on YouTube for viewers.

Baccalaureate Mass
Wednesday, May 5 • 7:00 pm
Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (1695 Central Avenue)
You and your family are cordially invited to attend the Baccalaureate Mass on May 5 at 7:00 pm at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. The event celebrates the accomplishments of our graduates – Associate’s, Bachelor’s, and Master’s candidates from the Class of 2027. Baccalaureate is a time for reflection on your Christian Brothers University experience and is open to all graduates and supporters to attend. Most Reverend David P. Talley, MSW, JCD, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Memphis, will celebrate the Mass.
Families will have the opportunity to take photos and will receive a free professional photo after the Mass. We hope that you can make this event a highlight of your graduation experience!

Undergraduates should wear regalia robe only; do not bring your cap. Graduate students should wear a regalia robe and hood; please do not bring your cap.
Countdown to Commencement
Thursday, March 18 • 12:00 pm – 1:15 pm Or 4:00 pm – 5:15 pm | LLC Lounge
(Come and go event. Please choose one session to attend.)
If you plan to participate in the commencement ceremony, you must attend the “Countdown to Commencement” event. You will receive important information in preparation for the May ceremony. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to sit for a cap-and-gown photo, order a class ring, speak with representatives from campus offices, and more.
Academic Regalia Pick-Up
Tuesday, April 27 • 11:30 am until 1:00 pm or 4:00 pm until 5:30 pm | LLC Lounge
Graduates are invited to retrieve the regalia they have ordered – and final reminders for the upcoming Commencement Exercises. As a reminder, the regalia does not need to be returned and belongs to the graduate.
To order your regalia, please complete the Graduate Information Form, and provide a credit card to confirm the purchase. The cost to the student will be $30.00.
Orders will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2027. Students ordering regalia after the deadline will be assessed a $30.00 late fee.
