When is the application deadline for the Day Foundation La Salle Scholars Scholarship?
The application deadline is February 7, 2026.
After applying for the scholarship, when can I expect a follow-up interview?
Applicants selected for interviews will be notified once the committee has determined eligibility.
Should I bring anything to the interview?
No, nothing is required for the interview.
Does the scholarship cover housing, meals, or books?
No. The scholarship covers tuition only.
When will the recipients of the scholarship receive notification?
Scholarship recipients will be notified once all scholarship decisions have been made.
Is this really a full-tuition scholarship?
Yes! Thanks to the generous support of the Day Foundation and funding from Christian Brothers University, this is a full-tuition scholarship.

What happens to the other financial aid in my award package?
The Day Foundation Scholarship is applied toward the scholar’s tuition, and the remaining federal, institutional, and state aid awards are applied to cover remaining charges, i.e., housing, meals, and books, up to the institution’s direct cost.
Is this a renewable scholarship?
Yes. The scholarship is renewable for up to 4 years (8 semesters), provided eligibility requirements are maintained.
Can I change my major and keep the scholarship?
Yes. You may change your major and remain eligible for the scholarship as long as your new major is within the School of Sciences, School of Engineering, School of Business, or the Education major. You must also maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 to continue receiving the award.
