CBU Commencement

The 2020 Commencement Exercises will not be held in person as scheduled on May 9.

We are exploring all alternative options. We know this is a deep disappointment for both our graduates and their families who have supported them throughout their education. CBU will do everything we can to make Commencement as special as possible, whatever route we pursue to celebrate this significant accomplishment.
Students who have applied to graduate will receive additional information as soon as it is available.

The University uses CBU email addresses only to send all official notifications regarding Commencement. If you do not check your CBU email frequently, please set your emails to forward to your personal account. CBU will not be able to send any notifications regarding commencement to personal email addresses.

Remember to make all of your account payments, take care of any library obligations, and complete all necessary exit interviews with the Business Office and/or Student Financial Aid prior to the end of the semester. These exit interviews can be done online. No transcripts or diplomas can be sent until all debts and obligations to the University are settled. Holds will be placed on your account.

Diplomas are released two to four weeks after the official graduation date. Graduates are notified at their CBU email address when diplomas are ready to be picked up in the Office of the Registrar. Diplomas unclaimed after two weeks are mailed to the address entered on the graduate application. If you change your address before graduation, please contact the Registrar's Office at immediately. If your address changes after the diplomas are mailed, then you will have to pay $30.00 to get a replacement copy.
