Biography

Amol A. Inamdar is an Assistant Professor of Civil & Environmental Engineering at Christian Brothers University. His teaching spans Environmental Engineering, Water & Wastewater Treatment, Hydrology, Hydraulics, and Civil Engineering Labs. His research focuses on practical, low-cost water-quality solutions, resource recovery(Best-Out-of-Waste), and separation processes, including membrane-based treatment. He mentors undergraduate teams on bench-scale jar testing, filtration and headloss, ion-exchange breakthrough, biofilm/aeration studies, and hydraulics–environment coupling projects. Prior to CBU, he taught and supervised student projects in India and Oman and conducted doctoral research at Texas A&M University (ABD). He is committed to hands-on learning, clear communication, and community-engaged projects.
