Matthew Hamner, Associate Professor, teaches speech and theatre. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theatre from Auburn University and a Master of Fine Arts in acting from the University of Central Florida. His area of specialization is the Meisner acting technique and the Lessac voice method. His goal as a professor is to help students overcome their fear of public performance and become more spontaneous with their acting choices. He is also the director of theatre and has produced many productions since coming to CBU in 2009. Ever so often he can be seen performing at Theatre Memphis. When professor Hamner is not doing theatre he likes watching Auburn football.
