Michal G Kennell

Michal Kennell works as the Enrollment Operations Specialist in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. They help keep the office running by providing support in everything from mailing admissions letters to systems auditing to providing weekday chocolate.

With a background in Liberal Arts, Michal loves exploring new perspectives and finding creative solutions. They graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in 2019 and St. John’s College in 2024, giving them a deep and affectionate understanding of Memphis and a jack-of-all-trades approach to learning. In their spare time, they enjoy roller derby, puzzles, and spending time with their dogs.

 Role & Responsibilities

The Enrollment Operations Specialist is to provide office support through the following:
– Maintaining Data Integrity in Slate and providing support in creating and implementing projects in Slate
– Data auditing in Slate, Axiom, and Banner 9
– Collaborating with the Registrar’s Office, IT, Financial Aid, and third-party vendors
– Processing student documents such as transcripts
– Managing accept packages and Admissions correspondence
– Processing Purchase Orders and Invoices
– Participating in enrollment events on behalf of the Admissions Office.
