The CBU American Society of Engineers (ASCE) Student Chapter attended the Mid-South Symposium on April 10 through 12 at Tennessee Tech University, in Cookeville, where they competed in six events: Mead Paper, Geo-bucket, Environmental, Sustainable Solutions, Land Surveying, and Steel Bridge. This year, our students faced tough competition against teams from every civil engineering program across Tennessee and Arkansas (14 universities). We’re pleased to announce the results!
CBU’s ASCE Student Chapter earned: 2nd Place in Geo-bucket, 2nd Place in Environmental, and 1st Place in Land Surveying.
Our 1st Place win in Land Surveying earns the CBU team a spot to compete in the National Land Surveying Competition this summer! We congratulate all of our faculty and students!
