Dr. Kumar Annavarapu, Coordinator of Overseas Education for the state government, and Bhupal Panga, CEO of the Indo-American Student Council, were joined in the meeting by Jack Shannon, President of CBU; Dr. Paul Haught, CBU Vice President for Academics; and Dr. Divya Choudhary, Director of Graduate Engineering and Dean of the College of Adult Professional Studies at CBU.

Discussions thus far have been focused on an initial cohort of up to 50 graduate students collectively enrolling in the Master of Science in Engineering Management and/or Master of Science in Computer Information Systems programs. This initial cohort could begin their studies at the University during the summer of 2021.

Christian Brothers University has a long history of educating international students and welcoming them into the CBU community. International students currently comprise 4% of the overall student population, and 9% of the graduate student population (which is a lower number than recent years, due to the pandemic and travel restrictions), coming to CBU from 23 countries.
