WE ARE FIRST GEN provides holistic support to students who will be the first in their immediate family to graduate from college. Through this program, we provide students with the tools and resources they need during their transition into college until their completion. We Are Building Up a Community of Scholars!

We Are FIRST GEN Celebration

The First-Generation College Celebration is celebrated each year on November 8 as it marks the anniversary of signing of the 1965 Higher Education Act, which has helped millions of first-generation students persist to degree completion. Check back for information on this year’s celebration at CBU!
