Since 1875, Christian Brothers University has offered graduate courses and degrees, gradually adding to the offerings over the years. Currently, CBU offers 12 graduate degree programs, six graduate certificate programs, and two teaching licensure programs which can be pursued within the accompanying degree program or independently. Each program is housed within its current School for academic focus, curriculum, and faculty.

The CBU Graduate School was launched in March 2022 as a centralized department administering recruitment and admissions processes and providing academic and career support services for all the University’s graduate-level degree and certificate programs. The Graduate School is also instrumental in increasing student engagement among the graduate student population and in providing faculty development services for the graduate program faculty. Support services available to graduate students include Career Services, mental and physical health services, spiritual support, tuition assistance, and graduate housing.
