Business Analytics 

Students in the Business Analytics minor will learn to analyze and interpret data, make data-driven decisions in real time, and confidently communicate insights that will drive business growth and innovation.

Business analytics combines the skills, technologies, and practices of iterative exploration and investigation and pins them against past business performance to gain insight and drive future business planning. In this new minor course of study, students will learn data collection, data cleaning, data visualization, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data-driven decision-making while having the opportunity to gain a firm understanding and proficiency by using current and normative tools.

What You’ll Study

Business Analytics is a minor in the Business Administration degree program and requires 18 credit hours. You’ll take CBU courses in data analytics, digital marketing analytics, business research and optional courses that include:

  • Health Data Analytics
  • Management Quantitative Methods 
  • Marketing Research and Intelligence
  • Social Media Marketing 

You will also complete a business analytics assignment or internship.
