Ronald L. Brandon (‘99, ‘26) was officially installed as the 25th president of Christian Brothers University during Mass at Stritch Chapel on the CBU campus on August 28, 2026.

A proud CBU alumnus and first-generation, nontraditional college graduate, Brandon brings a personal connection to the University’s mission. His priorities include advancing academic excellence; expanding access, opportunity and belonging for students; and strengthening partnerships that serve CBU and the broader community.

Fr. Bruce Cinquegrani presided over the installation Mass, with Fr. Ben Bradshaw serving as homilist. Br. Chris Englert, FSC, served as master of ceremonies, and Br. Thomas Sullivan, FSC, introduced Brandon. Judge J. Robert Carter (‘77), CBU Board of Trustees Chair, also presided over the installation ceremony.
Brandon’s wife Christy and son Dawson presented the gifts while CBU students contributed as servers and lectors.

Music for the Mass featured choir members Garrett Howard and Valeria Diaz, accompanied by Dr. Kelly Kramer, with Joel Kelley serving as cantor.
The installation marked a milestone for Brandon and his alma mater as he leads the University into its next chapter.
