Student Health Services
Student Health Services strives to assist students achieve their educational goals by promoting good health practices and providing accessible, comprehensive, and cost effective acute primary healthcare and educational outreach.
Our Mission
It is our goal to help students make informed healthy choices that will result in lifelong health and wellness.
Health Services is located in the Health Services Building, Room 129. The office is staffed from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday and 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday, when classes are in session to consult with you about your healthcare needs. In case of an emergency, please contact Campus Police at (901) 321-3550.
Services
Many over-the-counter medications and first aid supplies are available to students at no charge. Laboratory testing such as Strep A screening, pregnancy testing, and urine screening are performed when clinically indicated. There are no charges for clinic visits or above testing. Short-term, acute illnesses can be addressed. Patients with long-term or chronic illnesses will need to be seen by their primary care physician. Health Services can provide assistance with decisions regarding follow-up with off-campus care if needed.
Student Health Form
All students must have the following form completed by their health care provider, and returned to the Health Services Office prior to beginning classes.
