Transfer Scholarships
Here are the basics that you need to know about Transfer Scholarships before deciding whether this is a Financial Assistance option you would like to pursue:
- Scholarships don’t have to be repaid.
- Student must meet certain criteria and deadlines.
- Transfer scholarships are available to undergraduate day students only.
There is no separate application necessary for these scholarships. Students are considered for scholarship upon completing an application — this includes submitting all transcripts.
CBU Merit Transfer Scholarships
CBU offers academic scholarships ranging from $12,000 to $18,000 based on a student’s academic success in his or her prior college(s). Merit scholarships are renewable for a maximum of eight semesters.
CBU Transfer Achievement Award
CBU offers a $1,500 Transfer Achievement Award to transfer students with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 who are pursuing their first bachelor’s degree. Transfer awards are renewable for a maximum of eight semesters.
CBU Transfer Success Award
CBU offers a $3,000 Transfer Success Award to transfer students with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and a bachelor’s degree. Transfer awards are renewable for a maximum of eight semesters.
**Athletes are not eligible for the Transfer Achievement and Success awards.
