Homecoming at Christian Brothers University is always a time of celebration, tradition, and reconnection. Whether you’re an alum returning to relive your best Buc memories or a student making new ones, this year’s festivities will bring the CBU community together in a special way. See the schedule of events below!

Join us on September 25 & 26 to reconnect with old friends and celebrate our beloved alma mater as we officially unite Homecoming and Alumni Weekend. Our Alumni Weekend at Homecoming, presented by Pinnacle Financial Partners, will commence with the third annual President’s Reception on Friday, September 25, at the Dixon Gallery & Gardens. We will honor our Distinguished Alumni Award recipients and recognize those celebrating their 50th anniversary of graduating from CBU.

On Saturday, September 26, join us on campus for BUCtoberfest with music, beer, wine, food trucks, a kid zone, and the Homecoming Soccer Game! We will also have a service event, a special Mass, and more! Check out our registration page for more details.

Voting for this year’s Homecoming Court will open soon!

CBU students will have the chance to vote for their favorites with a direct voting link provided by the Division of Student Affairs via email.

Homecoming Schedule – September 23 – 26

One Crew Serves | Wednesday, Sept 23, 3:00-4:30 pm | Alfonso Dining Hall

The week kicks off with One Crew Serves, an afternoon of service that coincides with September of Service at CBU. The Registered Student Organizations will participate in a campus-wide project benefiting individuals & families in need. Each participant is asked to donate supplies and prepare at least 50 sandwiches to be packaged and donated to the community.

One Crew Competes | Thursday, Sept 24. 6:00 pm | Nolan Field

Join us for an exciting evening as the Bucs battle for the 2026 Buc Cup Championship! RSOs and CBU departments challenge each other in a fierce campus competition highlighting their CBU pride and Buccaneer Spirit.

The 2026 Homecoming Court will also be introduced during the evening’s festivities.

Legacy on the River | Friday, September 25,6:15 pm – 9:00 pm | Memphis Queen Riverboat

This Homecoming CBU will be ‘Rolling on the River’! Dress to impress and join the CBU community for an elegant Homecoming evening on the Mississippi River! Students are in for a formal night of music, dancing, fellowship, and CBU pride.

RSO Tailgate | Saturday, September 26, 3:00 pm | Nolan Field

Participating RSOs will host their own Homecoming tailgate experience while connecting with students, alumni and the greater CBU community during Alumni Weekend@Homecoming.

The 2026 Homecoming Court will be presented, followed by the official crowning of Mr. CBU and Miss CBU 2026.

One Crew, One CBU – Homecoming Royalty | Saturday September 26 | Nolan Field

Homecoming is a time of comraderie & collaboration among students and the CBU Community. This year don’t miss your chance to see the two students who are chosen as Homecoming Royalty by a jury of their peers. First the 2026 Homecoming Court will be presented, followed by the official Crowning of Mr. CBU and Miss CBU 2026.

BUCtoberfest – Alumni Weekend | 5:00 pm | Nolan Field

BUCtoberfest will take place at Nolan Field overlooking the soccer field. There will be food trucks, drinks, yard games, music, guided campus tours, and a CBU pop-up bookstore. We’re excited to bring back the KidZone this year which includes a bounce house, face painting, a slime station, and arts & crafts! This event is open to all ages, but drink tickets are only for those 21+ with valid ID. Your BUCtoberfest ticket includes 5 drink tickets and 1 food ticket. Admission for kids is free, but food is not included. Additional food tickets will be available at the door.

The Division of Student Affairs will have complimentary tickets for students at the event.

CBU Homecoming Soccer Game | Saturday, September 26, Women’s Game, 4:00 pm – Men’s Game, 6:00 pm | Signaigo Field

Homecoming is a great time to meet up with your friends and celebrate being a Buc! Bring your Buccaneer Pride to cheer on the Lady Bucs Soccer team at 4:00 pm and the Men’s team at 6:00 pm. The CBU Buccaneers will face off with Trevecca on Signaigo Field. Don’t miss this exciting time on CBU’s Campus!
