Welcome Weekend
Every year, CBU says “Welcome!” to its new students with a weekend of activities.
August 17-20, 2023
The Division of Student Development & Campus Life can’t wait to kick off the 2022-2023 academic year! All students are invited to attend Welcome Weekend 2022 on August 17 – August 20.
This is an opportunity for the CBU community to officially greet the Class of 2027 and to invite returning students back for a new year. We hope that you are just as excited to be at CBU as we are to have you!

Campus MapWelcome Weekend is for both residential and commuter students and is an integral part of the First Year Experience. All first-year freshmen are required to attend. You’ll have an opportunity to learn more about campus, give back to the community, enjoy activities, and start building lifelong friendships.
- First Year and new residential students will move onto campus, Thursday, August 17, 2023. Specific housing and move-in procedures will be announced in early July.
- First Year commuter students should plan to join the community on Friday, August 18, 2023 and plan to attend events throughout the entire weekend.
- Upperclassmen will be welcomed back to campus on Saturday, August 19, 2023.
