The Office of Academics is responsible for the quality of our faculty; our outstanding curriculum; student enrollment; the high caliber of our graduates; faculty development; research; and other academic operational and support programs.
The heart of CBU is its academic life. Excellence in teaching and individualized attention is the hallmark of CBU. As one the South’s top universities, CBU prepares students for professional careers and advanced study in the arts, sciences, engineering, business, and teacher education and for lives of moral responsibility and constructive community involvement.
In that spirit, the Office of Academics administers the academic policies of the University as they relate to students and faculty, helps to develop and monitor the budget of the University, and assists faculty in the identification of grant opportunities and in the preparation of grant proposals.
