CBU welcomes applications from students who are not only academically successful but also committed to making an impact on the world around them.
Admission to CBU is competitive. Each application is reviewed based on grade point average, standardized test scores (optional), personal writing sample, and an academic recommendation.
To be considered for admission, applicants may choose to submit test scores from the American College Test (ACT) or Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT). However, these scores are optional for most* students. (*Exceptions: Students majoring in the School of Sciences or Gadomski School of Engineering must submit test scores and official transcripts with their application.)
Advanced Credit Policies
If you have participated in Advanced Placement (AP) exams or International Baccalaureate (IB) exams, you may be eligible for college credit. You can take a look at the exam equivalencies with the Registrar’s Office.
